This is, by far, the longest period that I’ve never been to a bar. Yeah, seriously, I’m not the party-lover type of person unlike most of the girls my age. And today, I learned to miss something I rarely do,and that is going out on a saturday night. You read it right. Just the thought of seeing colorful disco lights strike through the faces, watching people dance like there’s no tomorrow, looking at those wasted faces and laughing over crisscross gait after a heavy drink is something I enjoy doing. It makes me happy. I’m not a good companion when it comes to that cause I hardly dance, drink and get wild. I definitely just sit in one corner and happily observe everyone do their thing. Call me boring but I kinda like it. :)Β
Cos there’s nothing wrong with being a kid once in a while π
I am in charge of how I feel and today I am choosing HAPPINESS π
BE WISE ENOUGH.
This caption says a lot. But for me, it’s being a wise consumer.
Earlier today, I was so close to buying those “authentic and made in Singapore” MAC make ups. I was really in awe when I saw the prices ranging from 100-1000 pesos. Who wouldn’t be amazed? Many would ask the seller if it’s really 100% authentic because knowing that it’s MAC, without a doubt, it must be really pricey $$$$$. The seller even said that those made in Singapore MAC make ups were especially made for Asian complexion, and she also got it at wholesale that’s why it’s much much cheaper compared to the ones made in America. I, literally, fell in to that “sales talk”. And due to my impulsiveΒ behavior, I ordered 5 items and when I did the transaction with the seller, I got even more bothered. So I did a little research and I found out that those are fake. There’s no such thing as SINGAPORE AUTHENTIC and MAC doesn’t have that wholesale thing. The moment I saw those posts, I immediately texted the seller and with all due respect, I explained the whole story. Good thing, she didn’t take it negatively. The seller really insisted that it’s authentic and made in Singapore. She even added, “to see is to believe. there’s no harm in trying to see for yourself the quality of products we’re offering.”. And at the back of my mind “there’s harm in trying specially if you got skin products. You might end up having skin problems.”
I do understand that these sellers are making money but they should have just at least labeled it as replica or class A so that consumers will be well-informed. It’s our right. Buying fake make ups is far different from buying fake clothes cause the moment you use them (fake make ups), you’re putting yourself to health problems and you don’t even know what’s even in it. At the end of the day, I’m still a buyer who go after quality over quantity.
SO BE WISE. BE VIGILANT. DON’T BE FOOLED. Lesson learned: Having and putting make up isn’t really my thing. HAHA GOOGLE FIRST!
